Q. What is the difference between LMC and LOA?
A. Established in 1968, LMC (Ludlow Maintenance Commission) is the incorporated homeowners association that includes the North Bay area of Port Ludlow. All lot and condominium owners within its boundaries are required to be members and are required to pay an annual assessment for operation and maintenance of its facilities and common areas. These include the Beach Club, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, Kehele Park tennis courts and playground, RV/Boat storage area and over 50 acres of greenbelts.

Any owner of a lot in the North Bay area of Port Ludlow is automatically a member of the North Bay Lot Owners Association (LOA). This organization exists primarily to improve communication, promote social interaction, nominate candiates to the LMC Board of Trustees to represent lot owners, and help preserve LMC common properties. It owns no property and operates primarily with voluntary contributions.
